Who we are

Who we are

Ashgrove Area Residents' Association is an independent and impartial association of local people who seeks to influence proposals and decisions on the conservation and development of this area and its natural surroundings and infrastructure for the long-term benefit of the community and the protection of its heritage.

Our objectives are to help safeguard what is valuable, and to promote actions and developments that will lead to improvement in the character and appearance of the area and the well-being of its community.

The residents of Sevenoaks are said to be amongst the happiest in Britain. We aim to keep it that way, so that the town remains a pleasant and attractive town to live and work in, and to visit.  There are ancient woodlands which are irreplaceable and should therefore be protected and managed to as to maintain and enhance their special character.

Can you help us?

VOLUNTEER OR DONATE

To mount a credible objection, we need to fund subject matter experts and a barrister to present our case. We are fortunate to have some highly qualified experts amongst our residents but estimate that we still need donations to effectively represent our case.

AARA is in the process of setting up a crowdfunding page on JustGiving.
