There is a SDC Development and Conservation Advisory Committee meeting 31st October 2023 at 19.00 which amongst other things will discuss the local plan.
This plan does include provision for 300 homes along the whole of the west side of Brittains Lane, effectively from New Beacon school to the back of Croft Way and stretching to the edge of Great Brittains wood. This land has been submitted for allocation for housing by Tyrolese 729, a company owned by Julia Hands.
There is to be a consultation period running from 23rd November to 11th January 2024 which will allow interested parties to comment on the inclusion of this site in the final Local Plan.
