Genesis Town Planning, purportedly instructed by another of the owners, but possibly also at Sigma Developments' behest, have submitted to SDC on 6th October an;
‘Application to determine if prior approval is required for a proposed : Formation, Alteration or Maintenance of Private Ways for Agricultural or Forestry’.
Basically the applicant is purporting to secure an agricultural access off Ashgrove Road in the same place the owner illegally did back in 2006 whereupon the planning authority issued a planning enforcement order forcing them to close that opening and reinstate, after an Appeal to an Independent Planning Inspector . Another planning application was submitted during June 2021 but withdrawn before a decision could be made.
Please be advised this does not mean this new application will automatically fail nor any full planning application that may follow. This is another cynical attempt to gain direct access into the urban environment; a precursor we are confident, if successful, to another planning application for housing development.
